Don’t you just love it when a celebrity has a makeover? Most of the time, we get a brand new look for us to obsess over and attempt for ourselves.

And occasionally, for the shadier folk out there, when someone famous shows off a new ‘do that’s not quite the best, there’s some comfort in knowing that even celebs can get it wrong sometimes…

Happily for Megan McKenna, it’s a case of the former – as she’s just debuted a striking new look and it’s a massive hit!

The TOWIE babe took to Twitter on Monday (25th July) to share the results of her latest trip to the hair salon with her near 450,000 followers. And in true Megan McKenna fashion, she said it with sass:

‘New hair bitches! I am in LOVE with my new look done by @beauXbX’, she tweeted alongside a picture of her darker and shorter locks. We think it looks fabulous!

And we’re not the only ones, with over 1,300 fans liking the photo within hours. One of her followers on Twitter chimed in with the very flattering: ‘OMG MEGS… so so beautiful. It’s [sic] suits you so much. Loving the darker colour’ capped off with a heart-eyes emoji.

Someone who’s sure to love her new look is her boyfriend, Pete Wicks. Being a part of the thick, dark locks movement, he’s surely loving the fact that his other half has gone over to the dark side now… COUPLE. GOALS.

Things are getting very heated in TOWIE...

TOWIE has exploded back onto our screens and Megan McKenna‘s fiery personality didn’t disappoint in this week’s episode of the reality show.

A heated row was provoked between Lydia Bright and the Essex newbie, with Megan accusing Arg‘s of thinking she was better than everyone else.

But Lydia is not very happy with those claims.

‘It’s ludicrous. I’m not like that. It’s never been my personality.

‘I’ve been brought up as part of a foster family where I’ve been taught not to stereotype and judge people. I’ve met people from so many walks of life.

However, the TOWIE original just wants to forget the whole thing ever happened: ‘It all boils down to a silly argument that should just be brushed under the carpet. I asked her to leave the table when she was shouting in front of a child in a restaurant.’

Both of them have been more than heated in this series: Lydia Bright confronted her ex-boyfriend Arg on the beach in some very brutal scenes, and Megan McKenna teamed up with boyfriend Pete Wicks to take down Mike Hassini.

Seriously, she took him down…

Lydia Bright SLAMS Megan McKenna after TOWIE spat

‘I will never, ever want to be her friend,’ says Chloe, 25. ‘It just won’t happen.

‘I don’t like anything about her and we will never be OK with each other.’

Wowzers, say what you think eh Chloe? The whole Chloe vs Megan debacle kicked off after Chloe accused Megan, 23, of sleeping with her former boyfriend Jake Hall when they were still an item.

She then suggested she’d seen Ms McKenna ‘bumping and grinding’ against another man during a trip to Marbella – behind her fella Pete Wicks’ back – and says there’s a photo showing this.

Megan has denied that anything was going on there and called Chloe ‘bitter’ for saying these things, something Chloe has a pretty stern response to.

‘She said that because she’s trying to clean up her reputation – and my reputation is quite clean,’ she tells Star magazine. ‘Yes I am bitter, but only because she split up my relationship.

‘She’s happy prancing around with Pete and rubbing it in my face, when she was the reason I split up with Jake. Of course I don’t want her around me.’

Yikes. The feud has had such an impact that Chloe says she can no longer be friends with Pete and she’s also not on speaking terms with ex Jake anymore.

After such harsh words it’s only natural that Megan would fire back and she’s done so in typically straight-talking style.

‘Chloe’s had a failed relationship with Jake,’ the former Ex On The Beach star says.

‘It’s been up and down with him for God knows how many years, but putting all the blame on me is so unfair.

‘It’s not my fault her relationship is f**ked up. Why can’t she move on? Everybody else has.’

Ooh, fighting talk from McKenna. Yet Megan showed her vulnerable side recently when she broke down in tears on screen following a row and she’s confessed that it’s all got a bit too much for her at times.

‘What upset me is feeling like everybody is ganging up on me once again,’ she tells Reveal magazine. ‘Now Lydia [Bright] has jumped on the bandwagon, which doesn’t surprise me.

‘When I joined the show, I heard she was telling people I was trash and that I’d lowered the tone of TOWIE because I’d previously had sex on TV.

‘It’s like Chloe and Lydia were happy there was going to be some kind of mix-up between me and Pete when the picture emerged. That’s just pure nastiness.’

Something tells us this whole Chloe vs Megan war could get a whole lot nastier yet…

Chloe Ferry has crossed the reality TV streams and is now dating TOWIE‘s Jon Clark!

Following in the footsteps of her co-star Marnie Simpson – who dated and was engaged to Ricky Rayment – the Geordie Shore babe has been texting the Essex hunk for a few weeks, and went on a date last night.

The pair darted around London and even shared a bit of a photoshoot on Snapchat. Eventually, they told all their fans on Instagram about their trip round London.

Jon joined TOWIE this year after finding fame on ITV’s Love Island, where he was caught in a whirlwind romance with Hannah Elizabeth.

However, according to both of them, it didn’t end well, and they split after a make-or-break holiday to Majorca.

Since then the 26-year-old joined up with the Essex reality show with his younger brother Chris Clark, which is a super-hero name if we’ve ever heard one.

Who knew Megan could belt out a tune like this?

Megan McKenna might have found fame with her reality TV shenanigans but she’s just reminded fans that she’s actually a talented singer.

The TOWIE star, 23, decided to have a bit of a singalong on Snapchat last night and posted clips of herself belting out tunes ranging from Dolly Parton’s Jolene to Defying Gravity from the hit musical Wicked.

Megan also posted the footage on Instagram and simply wrote: ‘Yoooooo peeps follow my snapchat Megan-Mckenna ’

The Essex girl really goes for it in the video and it’s left fans stunned thanks to her seriously impressive singing voice.

In fact many think she should swap filming TOWIE for hitting a recording studio STAT.

‘Omg why the hell aren’t you a singer @megan_mckenna_ never mind being on TOWIE, you should be on stage!’ one admirer wrote, whilst another said: ‘Whaaaaat… Wasted on towie mate!!!’

A particularly shocked follower commented: ‘I can’t get over how good she is!!!!’

It’s not the first time that Megs has displayed her musical talents, of course.

The reality star has previously performed during appearances on the likes of Ex On The Beach and before then auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 when she was just a teenager.

Megan also reached the Basildon regional final of Open Mic UK 2011 when she was just 19.

There’s been talk of her pursuing a singing career for quite some time, with the former Celebrity Big Brother star telling Twitter fans last year that she’d be releasing music ‘very soon’.

But, having since landed a role in TOWIE and started a romance with co-star Pete Wicks, it’s unclear whether Megs has had the time to continue working on her tunes.

Megan is a big country music fan – as her little Dolly Parton performance proves – but it’s previously been reported that Simon Cowell warned her off the genre.

‘She loves singing country music but Simon Cowell told her that as she’s from Essex nobody would take her seriously singing country,’ a source told Daily Star Online. ‘So she’s just refining her sound.’

After this latest snippet of Megs singing we sure hope she brings out some music of her own soon!

Megan's getting a hard time from some viewers...

We knew that when Megan McKenna joined the cast of TOWIE earlier this year, she was bound to ruffle a few feathers. And in her first few months of the show, she’s certainly done exactly that…!

However, Sunday night’s (31st July) episode has had fans up in more debate than ever before – and it’s all because of an explosive and emotional moment with best friend Chloe Meadows.

After Chloe and other friend Courtney Green attended a single ladies’ night out with some girls FAR removed from Megan’s good books, Megan invited her to the park for a private chat – and it wasn’t long before things took an awkward turn, as Megan accused Chloe of being a ‘sh*t friend’ for not declining the invite.

‘It’s normal. That’s what you’re meant to do when you’re friends. You’re being a s*** friend.’

Things got even more upsetting later in their spat, when an upset Megan shouted: ‘You’ve got nothing else to say, you’re a s*** friend. I’ve lost my best friend.’

Chloe agreed: ‘I’ve lost my best friend.’

And once they’d reached that sore point of conversation, Megan quickly ended their interaction ‘Well f*** off with someone else then. You’re a liar.’

Eek! Megan’s infamously outspoken way of speaking didn’t go down well with some viewers, with some even calling for her to be cut from the show:

Harsh, harsh words. However, many followers came out in support of Megs, with plenty seeing why she’d be frustrated, and taking pity on her treatment from some of the other cats members.

Our take on the sitch? If they’re not talking about you, you’re not doing reality TV right – so keep on doing you, Megan! Fingers crossed they can repair their friendship soon…

See how the reality star couple's romance blossomed...

Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks quickly became the talk of TOWIE when their relationship first graced our screens in March 2016.

They might have seemed an unlikely couple to some – what with feisty Megan having found fame on Ex On The Beach whilst Pete was busy being a pirate in Essex – but there’s no denying they make a pretty hot pair.

Here’s how Pegan became a thing, complete with lots of adorbs pictures to show the blossoming of their romance…

Rumours of Megan and Pete being more than just friends start circulating in March 2016 when preview pictures from the new series of TOWIE are revealed, showing Megan making her debut in the show alongside a certain Mr Wicks.

A source tells The Sun: ‘Pete never falls in love, but is totally bowled over by Megan. He is completely smitten and treats her like a princess.’

Awww. This is soon confirmed when the episode hits screens and Megan gushes about Pete to her pals.

‘I haven’t felt this way, I’m excited and he’s a really good kisser,’ she explains. Ooh!

Pete soon repays the compliment, saying in an interview that he loves Megan’s feistiness.

‘I like women who can stand up for themselves and who have a bit of fire in their belly,’ he reveals.

The couple are so in sync that they even select the same photo when it comes to posting their first couple image on Instagram and they share the same selfie at Easter too.

Pegan continue to chart their flirtation on TOWIE and also get cheeky with each other on social media. In April they bond over their love of dogs, with Pete jokingly asking Megan if his pup Eric can visit her pooch Daisy for a ‘Netflix and chill’ session.

Sounds like it’s getting serious! And indeed it is, as by the end of the series of TOWIE Megan and Pete are pretty much official.

Soon they’re jetting off to Dubai on holiday together and make us all jealous with their loved-up snaps.

Whilst TOWIE is off air, Megan defends the relationship against ‘showmance’ rumours and explains that she’d known Pete for years before they got together.

‘People don’t understand – people watch TOWIE and think: “Oh they’ve just got together because of the show”,’ she admits.

‘Like, no! We actually knew each other, we had a really good friendship before TOWIE…They think it’s just for the cameras, and it is annoying.’

When TOWIE returns in July, Pete and Megan can’t hide their affection for each other in Palma and go crazy for the old PDAs. They also look super cute on a tandem bike – goals.

Oh, and they show they know how to BURN anyone who disses them.

Another original cast member bites the dust

For six years TOWIE has brightened our screens with their awkward, semi-reality TV catchphrases, but the iconic original cast has been whittled down over the years. And now we have to say goodbye to one more: Billie Faiers.

The star has, unfortunately, confirmed she is leaving the show. According to reports in The Sun, the mum-of-one handed in her notice last Friday.

Billie is set to focus on her family, which includes her adorable two-year-old daughter Nelly.

A rep for the reality star told OK! Online: ‘Billie has recently made us aware that she would like to prioritise family life and little Nelly for the rest of the year.

‘We are in full support of this decision and will continue discussing with her how best to move forwards.’

This doesn’t necessarily mean the end of Billie and little Nelly on our screens: the ITV bosses are happy to work with her if she wants to in the future.

The rep added: ‘Billie is a much loved and valued member of the TOWIE team and we are happy she wants to continue working with us.’

Billie Faiers joined the first series of the show with her sister Sam, who eventually left the show for her own ITVBe series, Sam Faiers: The Mummy Diaries.

Now, only Lydia Bright and James Argent are the original cast members from the show. If you’ve been keeping up with TOWIE, you know that their relationship isn’t exactly on the most stable of grounds.

Lauren Goodger responds to Instagram editing scandal

This was particularly of note as Lauren, 29, beat Michelle – wife of her ex Mark – to the title but Ms Goodger insists that really doesn’t matter to her.

Setting the record straight about her relationship with former boyfriend Mark, Lauren said: ‘Please let me put this to bed.

‘That ship sailed so long ago, I have no feelings whatsoever. I’ve moved on, he’s moved on.

‘I understand why people are interested because of TOWIE, but trust me now, I’m happy for him, and I’m happy in my life.’

Well that’s that then! Speaking of TOWIE – the show that brought both Lauren and Mark to fame when they were still an item – Lauren had some pretty exciting news to share about the show.

The cast original is coming BACK for the next series and can’t wait to show the ‘real her’ now that much of her past drama has calmed down.

‘I was meant to be in this series but couldn’t for personal reasons,’ she said of her comeback. ‘But I’ll be in the next series, yes.

‘I have no drama, I can go on as one of the girls and help the other girls out.’

It’s unclear how long Lozza might stick around but she’s hopeful that her return to the show will be a success.

The reality star will also be showcasing a brand new look when she comes back to our screens, having recently ditched her lip fillers, and it sounds like she’s feeling better than ever in herself.

‘I’m happy with how I am,’ she explained of her newly natural appearance. ‘I’m a curvy girl, I’ve got boobs, I’m healthy.

‘It’s not about being a size zero. Feeling sexy and confident for me is the most beautiful thing ever.’

It's not always sunny in Essex

Oh no, viewers are starting to turn against TOWIE since it’s been focusing on Megan McKenna falling out with the rest of the cast.

People are slamming the ITVBe show as ‘boring’ and ‘the Megan show’ after the 23-year-old has seemingly turned against everyone in Essex, including her former bestie Chloe Meadows.

It seems people are less than impressed with the current storylines and cast – and one person even criticised their nights out.

One person said: ‘Meghan is too much of a bore. Her life is boring and her existence in TOWIE is boring #TOWIE [sic.]’

Well people yearning for the old days are in luck! Lauren Goodger confirmed on Loose Women that she’s returning to The Only Way Is Essex next series.

She told the panel: ‘I was meant to be in this series but couldn’t for personal reasons. But I will be back next series.

‘I said I’d love to come back as Lauren. I’ve always been in a relationship or had drama. I can be one of the girls. There’s a load of things I can do. I can help the other girls.’

TOWIE viewers turn against Megan McKenna

Nathan, 24, is good mates with Tommy Mallet and will be seen going on a double date with his mate and their respective girlfriends Cara, 25, and Georgia Kousoulou.

The group are going bowling together and will be filming the scenes today. Er, can we come next time, guys?

Whilst Nathan and Cara’s appearance is being billed as a guest spot, it sounds like there’s hope of them becoming series regulars at some point in the future.

Nathan – who became pals with Tommy when he was an apprentice for him at a carpentry company several years ago – is looking at moving into a flat in the same building as Tommy and Georgia.

So who knows, maybe they’ll become neighbours and Mr Massey will be popping up more often!

It comes after previous speculation that the lovebirds might join the cast of the hit series following their Love Island triumph last month.

Nathan told the Daily Star a few weeks ago: ‘We have friends on TOWIE and I’ve said before that I would love to join the show, so we wouldn’t say no.’

Cara also added: ‘Of course we are excited about new TV projects and would love to continue entertaining.’

It’s not the first TOWIE/Love Island crossover either. Current cast member Jon Clark found fame on LI last year, having reached the final with love interest Hannah Elizabeth.

Sadly, despite getting engaged on the show, that relationship fizzled out soon afterwards.

TOWIE’s also welcomed other reality stars, including Ex On The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother alumni Megan McKenna.

We can’t wait to see how Cara and Nathan fit in amongst all the TOWIE drama!

TOWIE viewers turn against Megan McKenna

Now a clip has been released which shows a little bit of what the two pairs of lovebirds get up to and fans are seriously loving it.

The footage shows them all having a catch-up at a bowling alley, with Tommy seen telling Georgia about how Nathan and Cara are looking to move into a flat in the same building as them.

This prompts the lads to have a laugh about the shenanigans they can get up to, with Nathan joking that they can do the cup and string telephone thing (remember that from back in the day?).

‘We can have the nuttiest game of hide and seek in that flat,’ Tommy jokes. LOLs.

Georgia looks a bit startled by it all while Cara quips: ‘I don’t know if this is a good idea or not.’

It sounds like this could become a thing though as Georgia starts to come around to the idea.

‘Will be quite fun, I’m not gonna lie,’ she admits. Ooh, so does this mean that Nathan and Cara could become a permanent edition to the TOWIE crew?

Fans of the show certainly seem in favour of them sticking around after catching this glimpse of their debut appearance.

‘I can’t wait for this,’ one viewer wrote on Twitter, whilst another said: ‘annnnnnnd I just found a reason to watch TOWIE’

Cara and Nathan’s guest spot on the show was announced earlier this week and it wouldn’t be surprising if they did appear again in future, what with Nathan having been mates with Tommy for several years.

Hmm...This is awkward

Though it seemed as if they were on the way to becoming one of our foremost reality couples, TOWIE‘s Jon Clark and Geordie Shore‘s Chloe Ferry are no more – and according to him, it was over before it even started!

In late July, they were pictured on a swanky date, with Instagram pictures from Chloe documenting the whole romantic affair. It looked like the start of something special – but sadly, it wasn’t long before their social media accounts were purged of any evidence of them ever having met.

Speaking exclusively to Now magazine, Jon cleared up all the discussion about his brief dalliance with Newcastle’s chief chicken nugget snacker – and apparently, things were never fully ‘on’, because she’s not the ‘marriage type’ he’s looking for…

‘We went on one date, so I don’t really understand where this whole ‘relationship’ thing has come from,’ he told us. ‘We went on the date, she’s a lovely girl, just not what I was looking for.

‘We speak but… she’s great fun to be around, but maybe I wasn’t feeling it as much as she was. We were never boyfriend and girlfriend.

…Eek. That’s gotta be a blow for Chlo – who went as far as describing him as a ‘sort’ in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Jon, 26, continued: ‘There was chemistry, and we did get along, but I usually go for like a certain type – and I wasn’t really feeling it at the time.

‘I was actually seeing another girl at the time…when that girl came back around again, then I kinda dropped Chloe out.’

Though former Love Island star Jon is now completely single, he’s hoping it won’t be for too long, as he’s looking to put a ring on the finger of a lucky lady soon – and clearly, it won’t be Chloe’s. ‘I want to find a potential wife. I want someone who’s got similar interests to me.

‘I’ve got to a point where I’m not bothered about going out with my mates, going to after parties. I’d prefer to go out for a nice meal and come home at a reasonable time. I’m getting close to 30 now!’

So, then, what qualities will his potential wife have? Ideally, Jon wants the two Ts first:

‘Tits; teeth; girl that looks after herself; a girl who’ll be able to handle me, someone who’s able to put me in my place when I’m being cheeky; and a girl who I look at and I’m proud to walk around with.’

Form an orderly queue, ladies…

Yup, TOWIE‘s residential love birds Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks have snuck away for some September sun- leaving us feeling very lonely and pale.

Thanks a bunch, you annoyingly good looking pair.

The couple have found themselves off the beaten Essex track, and are currently sunning it up in beautiful Barcelona- and it looks like they’re having a blast!

They’ve been snoozing by the pool…

They’ve been snogging in the water… 

They’ve been admiring the view (and Megs’ pretty darn impressive booty)…

They’ve been to Barcelona’s infamous city beach…

They’ve played the guitar on a fork…

And they’ve single handedly destroyed the worlds biggest lobster…

All whilst looking like they’ve been photoshopped by angels. Some people have all the luck, don’t they?!

The couple even managed to squash a few ‘on-the-rocks’ rumours from their spot on the sun beds.

Pete took to his Twitter to share ‘So apparently there’s “trouble in paradise” rumours…@Megan_Mckenna_’, a Tweet accompanied with a snap of him and Megs gesticulating exactly what they thought of these rumours. 

Nicely played, you two.

All in all, it looks like a pretty decent holiday- right?!

After becoming an official couple earlier this year, TOWIE fans were delighted as Pete finally told Megan he loved her during the season finale.

More recent TOWIE episodes have seen the couple all up in the thick of it, with multiple rumours circulating Essex alluding to Megan becoming involved with Jake Hall whilst he was still in a relationship with Chloe Lewis.

Despite Megan continually denying this, she and Pete found themselves at the brunt of a fair bit of criticism.

Rough times for the Essex cast member

After his arrest in August, TOWIE‘s Michael Hassini has pleaded guilty to driving while over the alcohol limit.

Appearing in court on Monday (12th September), Michael was charged with three offences after crashing his Mercedes down London’s famous shopping destination, Oxford Street on August 15th.

At the time, Mike, 21, was allegedly over twice the driving limit when he was arrested at 3.30am on Euston Road. Things had gotten rather dangerous, as he is said to have smashed into a Mercedes at a red light, causing the Mercedes to hit a bus in front.

The Essex star spent the night in a cell, and could now face a driving ban and a fine of up to £2,500 and a possible jail sentence – but the punishment is yet to be announced. Making matters worse, he was then charged with assaulting a female officer while in custody, but he’s pleaded not guilty to this charge,

Directly after his arrest, a police spokesperson said: ‘Michael Hassini, was charged on Monday, 15 August, with driving or being in charge of a motor vehicle with alcohol concentration above the prescribed limit…He was further charged with possession of cocaine.’

Though he’s addressed the drink driving offences, there has been no word as of yet regarding the charge of possessing cocaine.

Yikes. Something tells us that we really won’t be seeing him back on TOWIE any time soon…

Chloe suggested that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has had the same procedure that she herself underwent, where you remove fat from the waist and move it to the booty.

The Essex beauty explained: ‘I was looking at pictures of Khloe Kardashian in a bikini and saw scars that look like she’s had the procedure. Years ago, I had some fat removed from my body and put in my bum and I’ve got the same marks she has.’

Uh-oh! Are you sure you want a Hollywood enemy, Chloe?

‘She has them over her legs and bum – I don’t know how people haven’t picked up on it’, Chloe insists.

The youngest of the three Kardashian sisters, Khloe, was bombarded with liposuction speculation when she began her TV show, Revenge Body.
