Things are on the up for TOWIE's Jake Hall!

Poor Jake Hall– it’s been a pretty turbulent break in Marbella for the TOWIE star, hasn’t it?

Last week, reports came to press alluding to Jake Hall’s involvement in a nasty club brawl in Marbella- an incident which is understood to have left the TOWIE fella’ hospitalised with a alleged stab wound.

Yikes! Definitely not in the brochure, we’re sure.

Since being admitted to hospital, 24-year-old Jake has shared a few snaps of himself in the hospital bed.

Taking to Instagram last week, Jake shared a selfie with the caption ‘Managed to pull a smile for all the amazing people who sent nothing but love and wishing me better.. Your support has got me through this worring time but as I said you can’t get rid me that easy! I’m slowly getting better’. 

But it seems that things are very much on the up for Mr Hall, after the star shared an incredible video of himself taking his first steps since the incident. Up and Atta’em, Jakey boy!

Captioned ‘Today was best feeling in world being able to have a little walk’, many fans have been quick to share their well wishes to the 24-year-old.

Some messages read ‘Nice to see ur getting better every day and stronger’, ‘Good on you @jakehall01 no-one deserves that, nice to see you up and about and on the mend.’  and ‘Bless you, lovely to see x’. 

Jake has also shared a snap of himself and a fellow patient in hospital, which he has captioned ‘Most amazing family.  me and Eduardo been pushing each other he getting better too!’. Get ready folks, this is going to give you ALL the feels.

Is Jake Hall maybe the nicest person in the world? Very, very potentially.

We all have that number one style icon; whether it be Kim Kardashian or Kendall Jenner. But TOWIE’s Lydia Bright has a style icon closer to home.

Speaking at The Polo at the Manor event, held at The Celtic Manor in Wales, Lydia, 26, confessed that she loved her mum, Debbie Bright’s, sense of style.

She said: ‘My mum’s always been very eccentric with her dress sense and I champion her for that.’

Seen here in the adorable photo that the TOWIE star tweeted, Debbie wore a flattering floor length dress and black shades for a day at the Polo.

Dressed herself in a white, lace dress coupled with a pink trench coat, Lydia continued: ‘She’s always enforced on her children to be creative and unique, and don’t feel like you have to conform to trends and I love that.’

It was nice to see Lydia still as smiley as she was on her recent trip to Bali, following her recent split with James ‘Arg’ Argent. Even though a lot of people are hoping they’ll rekindle their romance, Lydia’s positive attitude at the Polo was enough to make everyone else smile with her!

What’s your favourite work out?

Definitely boxing. I box on my own, with my personal trainer or whoever’s about. I do a lot bag work then just mix cardio with weights.

How often do you exercise?

I try and go at least three times a week.

You ooze confidence, have you got any body confidence hacks?

It’s about appreciating what you have, and doing little things that make you feel good about yourself like wearing matching underwear, or having a flawless skin regime. For me, I love my winged eyeliner.

Nice! What’s your favourite body part?

My waist. I’ve got massive hips so I love getting out the smallest part of my body, which is my waist

Do you have a least favourite body part?

My arms. They’ve just got really big.

(Now is baffled!) Have they?

Well, maybe it’s all in my head. I’ve been doing extra tricep dips in the old gym.

Danielle Armstrong have slammed stars who constant gain and lose weights in order to promote their fitness DVDs.

The TOWIE star took to Twitter to rant about the yo-yo dieting by warning about how unhealthy the whole process is.

The 28-year-old said: ‘These celebrities that put weight on, say they are happier being bigger, then you no they are going to bring out DVD & extreme weight loss.

‘It’s not good for your body to yoyo diet and money isn’t worth risking your health.’

Celebrities like Lauren Goodger – who lost four stone before releasing her OMG workout – and Sam and Billie Faiers, along with Lydia Bright, who created their joint Essexercise Workout DVD, have lost weight and then released a fitness DVD.

We’re not sure why they all need an Essex twist but whatever makes people happy.

Fans have mostly been agreeing with Danielle Armstrong, with one saying: ‘Thank you!!!! I can’t keep up with Kerry Katona, Claire Richards and Chanelle Hayes.’

And another adds: ‘One minute they’re big and happy then they’re thin and promoting the DVD.’

Danielle is feeling confident in all aspects of her life, and not just body-wise. Talking to Reveal magazine, the reality star said that she no longer feels the need to look through boyfriend James Lock‘s phone.

‘I’ll be honest. When we first got together, I wanted to look at his phone all of the time, and sometimes I wanted to find something.

After the huge success with her first collection, TOWIE‘s gorgeous newcomer Megan McKenna has launched a second with fashion brand labelled Megan X Miss Pap Festival collection – a funky festival edit!

We were lucky enough to have a chat with Megan about her latest launch and this is what she had to say about it!

What is it that you love about Miss Pap that made you want to work with them on another collection? They let me get involved in the design process with choosing fabrics and patterns and I’m always really happy with the outcome.

Do you have a favourite piece in your festival collection? White dress with the burgundy flowers around the bandeau, its such a beautiful cut and so floaty for summer!

Are you going to any festivals this Summer? Are there any that you’d really like to try? – I’d like to go back to V Festival again as I’ve had such good times there in the past and as it’s in Essex so it’s on my door step – what’s not to like? Coachella would be the dream next year and i love house music so I really like Creamfields.

What do you think the biggest festival trend is at the moment? – I’m really loving my Boho look I wore in my latest Miss Pap collection with face jewels. I also really like the off the shoulder Bardot look and it suits my style You can even pull it off even in wellies. I also the love fringing and tassel detail on some of my new pieces.

What’s your go-to festival make-up look? Very bronzed, pink eyeshadow with some face jewels!

Name three items in your festival survival kit? Hand sanitizer, lip liner and toilet roll (but not in this order!!)

Tommy Mallet has revealed he lost an massive TWO stone before filming the current series of TOWIE.

The reality star revealed a trip to a quick trip to a juice retreat during a break in filming has allowed him to return with the amazing results.

Speaking with co-star Jon Clark, Tommy said: ‘We went to Mexico, it was beautiful. It was just a chilled out thing, I didn’t really drink out there I just took it easy.

‘I’ve lost two stone. I’m still fat but I’m getting there. I’ve been training and doing a bit of running. I’m trying to look like Jon!’

He added: ‘I went to juice camp during the break as well. I’ve never had vegetables in my life. Never eaten them. Never ate fruit.

We were never allowed to leave the table without finishing our veg and we don’t look this good. So that’s what is missing – a juice retreat!

Yep, the cast of The Only Way Is Essex have landed in Palma to shoot a sunny special and the battle of the swimwear is officially ON after several cast members stripped down during filming today.

And as the below pictures very much prove, the girls (and even some of the guys) have pulled out all the stops this year. In fact this might just be their most daring bikini war EVER!

First nod must go to Danielle Armstrong, who stepped out in a high-leg studded two-piece that must have taken some serious confidence to wear. Kudos, lady!

Also opting for a high-waisted look was Chloe Lewis. The reality star teamed her patterned bottoms with a matching bra top.

Meanwhile her namesake Chloe Meadows decided to keep things a little more simple in a white number.

Lydia Bright bucked the trend and swapped a bikini for a swimsuit. We think she made a pretty good choice too – her monochrome one-piece is super cute! Are you looking, James ‘Arg’ Argent?!

There’s certainly some totally new trends being worked by the cast this time around. Courtney Green’s lace detailing on her bikini top adds a fresh twist to her look – extra brownie points awarded in the battle, we think.

Unfortunately a couple of the ladies dented their chances in the swimwear war by making a rookie error. Yep, we’re looking at Georgia Kousoulou and Kate Wright with THOSE tan lines – sorry, girls.

And where’s Megan McKenna, you might ask? Don’t worry, Pete Wicks‘ missus is very much in Palma and chose a black bikini for her look.

But we’ve barely been able to get a glimpse of it in these pictures. The brunette star was too busy exchanging sweet nothings with Pete, it seems – awww.

When asked to describe his relationship to girlfriend and fellow TOWIE co-star Georgia Kousoulou, he responded with one word.

Stonehenge.

Yes, you read that correctly. Tommy Mallet just compared his relationship to Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument in Wiltshire (aka the circle of big rocks).

But hold on, did he say it was because – like his relationship – it is so strong? Or unique?

No… but Tommy did have his reasons: ‘It’s been there thousands of years and hasn’t gone anywhere.’

Okay, we can try and get on board with this. Although, of course, Tommy and Georgia’s relationship hasn’t been there for thousands of years, the guy is clearly trying to be romantic and let us know that his relationship is going to stand the test of time. Kind of cute, right?

Tommy, 24, and Georgia, 24, have been dating since 2014 and have managed to survive the infamous ‘TOWIE curse’. Despite all the drama that comes along with being part of the Essex crew, the pair have taken a big step in their relationship recently and have decided to move in together.

When Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were announced the winners of Love Island on Monday, fans thought it a truly bittersweet moment.

Though they more than deserved to walk away with the cash prize of £50,000, their winning meant the end of the show, and the end of our daily fix of televisual romance!

But we may not be saying goodbye to these two just yet – as there are rumours that they could be signing on to join the cast of The Only Way Is Essex!

After all their amorous activities in the villa, it has been suggested that these two will be drafted in to add extra spice to the classic scripted reality show. And with viewers witnessing these two getting it on more than 21 times over the course of six weeks, they’d certainly be good at it!

‘Of course we are excited about new TV projects and would love to continue entertaining,’ Cara revealed on Wednesday.

Nathan added, speaking to Daily Star: ‘We have friends on TOWIE and I’ve said before that I would love to join the show, so we wouldn’t say no.’

Both have connections to the show already as they’ve revealed plans to double date with Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou – so, TOWIE bosses, take note!

However, there’ll be no more late-night TV performances for Cara on her own, now that Nathan’s in the picture. Cara has been very open about her previous appearances on erotic TV channels and was previously revealed to have videos on a pornographic website. But when asked if she’d be doing any more, she declined:

‘I don’t think I’ll go back to it, when I was doing it before I wasn’t with someone,’ she explained to the Sun Online on Wednesday (13th July).

‘Now I’ve got a boyfriend and we are very serious about each other.’

A sign of blossoming love if we’ve ever seen it!

Pete Wicks has been left to pay €1,200 after charges were added to his hotel bill

We bet Pete Wicks is wishing he NEVER went to Spain with the TOWIE cast, after finding out he’s been hit with a staggering €1,216.30 room service bill.

To add insult to injury, the TOWIE hunk, who’s dating former CBB star and co-star Megan McKenna claims he didn’t get a sniff of any posh booze or grub and has fallen victim to someone charging their drinks and snacks back to his room. Ouch.

TOWIE co-star Tommy Mallet made a public appeal on Twitter for the person responsible for running up the huge tab to fess up. Awkward.

Tommy tweeted a photo of Pete’s bill alongside the words: “Whoever done this to @P_Wicks01 room please own up now!!! He’s got to do bare Pas to get this back.”

Poor old Pete did make light of the situation however, tweeting back “Oi Mallet lend me a quid…” followed by a sad face emoji.

The HUGE bill, alongside copious amounts of food and poolside refreshments, includes use of the mini bar, room service AND use of the express laundry service.

There’s six room service drinks totalling €29, 14 items of food amounting to €100 and 26 items from the mini bar costing a total of €132. But the biggest shock for Pete was the 88 poolside drinks totalling €690, followed by 11 poolside snacks at €114.

Not all of Pete’s TOWIE co-stars are being as caring as Tommy however, with Kate Wright tweeting: “Omg you’ve had a mare” along with four crying with laughter emojis.

Can anyone help Pete? We certainly hope so.

In Sunday night’s (17^th July) holiday special, The Only Way is Mallorca, Lydia inevitably ran into her ex during a stroll along the beach. Though early footage released ahead of the episode showed that they had a big ol’d bust-up, the fight didn’t get shown in full until then.

‘What you did that night, for me is the most disrespectful, selfish act that I’ve ever heard of,’ Lydia told Arg scathingly. ‘What you did was disgusting, absolutely disgusting – but you knew you wanna do it.

‘So, if you saw it coming and you knew it was happening, why didn’t you walk away before you made me hate you?’

Yikes. It was certainly an emotional watch, with many viewers taking to Twitter to air their upset . However, there were a considerable number of folks who thought that Lydia was ‘mean’ with her words to Arg, having left him in tears: We don’t know what he did ‘that night’ in question, but it clearly really upset Lyd – and since they are the only ones who can know the exact in and outs of their romance breakdown, it’s difficult to take sides. Who knows what pushed Lydia to that point – but does Arg deserve a break?

Meanwhile, Lydia’s made it clear that she stands by her decision to break off the romance with this pointed Instagram post:

Holidays are usually a time for far too many cocktails and sandy toes- possibly the two best things in life.

When you’re a member of the TOWIE gang, however, things are often a *little* bit more dramatic. Which isn’t surprising, considering THIS happened during Sunday’s episode…

So, it’s usually in the TOWIE holiday brochure that a lil’ drama will be involved in a get-away.

However, the lovey Danielle Armstrong has revealed that she spent the ENTIRE duration of her Majorca trip in tears- which is no fun at all!

The Essex beauty shared that during her time in Majorca, she suffered a ‘breakdown’ due to body insecurities. Which is something we very much do not like to hear.

Talking to New!, 28-year-old Danielle shared she ‘couldn’t stop crying’ over online trolls posting cruel things about her appearance- which is not only utterly mean, but also utterly incorrect!

Danielle shares, ‘there was a day when I had a breakdown and didn’t stop crying. It’s so hard when people are writing nasty comments’.

Danni continues, ‘It’s a lot of harder now there are younger girls on the show, I’m one of the older ones now. I’m not going to have the same body I had when I was 21’.

However, we strongly beg to differ- one look at Danni’s Instagram is probably enough to send us reeling for the treadmill. Like, c’mon! How incred?!

And we certainly aren’t the only ones who think Danni‘s body is AMAZE, with messages from fans reading ‘You look stunning’, ‘Dayummmmn girl’ and ‘My actual girl crush’.

The I’m A Celebrity 2015 finalist will be making a return to her original reality show grounds in an upcoming episode – but sadly it won’t be for good, as she’ll only be shown briefly, as a guest cast member.

She makes an appearance on Wednesday evening’s (20^th July) edition, via a video call with bestie Billie Faiers to celebrate daughter Nellie’s second birthday – and it looks like it’s set to be a very cute moment!

Ferne, 25, has appeared in over 100 episodes since she joined in 2013 and previously revealed that she’d be back for the occasional cameo appearance.

Seeing as episodes for the glam, scripted reality show are aired soon after filming, it’s probable that Ferne’s physical absence from the party was due to her filming a ‘Thelma and Louise-style’ food mini-series with good pal Vicky Pattison – so even if she’s not back in Brentwood for good, we’ll surely get our telly fix of her very soon!

So, Gemma Collins is returning to TOWIE- but it's going to be pretty emotional.

If we told you that the GC was to return to TOWIE, you’d probably start jumping through hoops or something- right?!

Sadly, this isn’t going to be the case- as Gemma Collins is rumoured to be returning to the show, but for a very heartbreaking reason. Major sad faces all round.

So, it’s rumoured GC will be returning in order to comfort long term BFF Bobby Norris– after the tragic death of his beloved dog.

A source has told The Sun: ‘Bobby is devastated after what happened to Beau [his dog], it was so horrible and Gemma just had to be there for him.They’re so close and Bobby is just so upset about losing Beau and Gemma decided to come back to the show to to support him’.

Talking of the sad event, TOWIE star Bobby shared in since deleted tweets that he was ‘absolutely heartbroken to announce that whilst on a walk with my baby Beau, he was mauled to death by another dog…. Owners should take responsibility for their pets to avoid these tragedies. There’s no such thing as dangerous dogs, just dangerous owners’.

29-year-old Bobby also took to Instagram to share an emotional post, which he captioned with a heart broken emoji.

35-year-old Gemma quit TOWIE back last summer, which she later revealed was due to the cruel comments she would receive about her appearance.

At the time, Gemma shared that ‘all the abuse on social media was a big reason [for me quitting]. People think I’m tough as nails but I’m soft as s**t at the end of the day. I understand I came across as a b**ch the way it was edited but I didn’t deserve all the abuse’.

After accusing her of sleeping with Jake Hall, Chloe Lewis and Megan McKenna come to blows again. But what did Twitter think?!

Quicker than you can say ‘Shuuuuuuuuuuuup’.

If you missed TOWIE last night, allow us to fill you in- Sun. sun, sun, sun EXPLOSIVE CHLOE L AND MEGAN MCKENNA ROW, sun, sun, sun.

It was all a bit of a whirlwind, right?!

So, after Sunday’s accusations that Chloe Lewis had watched over as Pete Wicks‘ girlfriend Megan McKenna had been ‘dirty-grinding’ (*shudders*) with other men, the two TOWIE girls finally came to blows. And it was everything we could have hoped for and maybe more.

On board of James Lock‘s yacht (Schoolboy error, girls. You ain’t getting off this one in a hurry), 23-year-old Megan asked Chloe: ‘So, what are these rumours about?’- to which ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE.

In fact, the conversation escalated rather quickly into both girls calling each other ‘vile’ (Lydia Bright also joined in the slanging match) as fellow TOWIE cast member Danni Armstrong did the awkward watch-on.

Ending in true Megan McKenna style, Lydia was left scathing as she (and her fringe) were instructed to ‘F**k off’. What did the fringe ever do?!

So anyway, THAT happened.

And it seemed the people of Twitter had *quite* a bit to say about the clash- as many came out in support of Megan, who has been feuding with Chloe L since she accused her of having an affair with Jake Hall.

One Twitter user wrote ‘I swear Chloe Lewis life revolves around @Megan_Mckenna_ !! give it a rest already you bore‘. Another writes ‘I freakingggggg loveee loveeee loveee @Megan_Mckenna_’. 

Chloe herself took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the scene, writing ‘I am never going to be friends with someone who slept with my boyfriend and that is a fact!’.

Note to self: Clip back fringe before ever arguing with Megan McKenna for ones own safety.

When asked what the most exciting thing to happen since last series of TOWIE, Chris replied: ‘Meeting my girl friend Amber. I’ve been seeing her since about March. We’ve spoken about avoiding the ‘TOWIE curse’ and said the main thing we need to do is communicate. If we talk to each other and are open about things then nothing can catch us off guard. Trust and communication is key. If you don’t have either of those, you’ll fail both in TOWIE and in life.’

Amber is 23 year old freelance hairdresser from Epping, and has the BEST hair and she’s also the best friend of Georgia Kousoulou!

And, no, she’s not going to fade into the background…

‘I’ve met Amber before, she’s quite feisty, a nice girl, she’ll be a good character for the show. You want someone like that.’ TOWIE’s Danni Armstrong reveals. ‘You don’t want someone to just come on and get one with everyone, that’s boring. You’ve got to have something about you. So, I hope there is a little bit of drama!’ So do we!

But fear not the gorgeous girl does have her flaws. Beau Chris joked on his Snapchat: ‘Three things about Amber: she’s a bad driver, a bad cook… but actually a really good kisser!’ Well, that’s the main thing, eh Chris?!

And while TOWIE is full of DRAMZ, Amber’s not got a problem with Chris’ ex-flame, Courtney… YET.

‘Everyone thinks me and Courtney [will have an issue] because of the Chris situation,’ Amber admitted. ‘I think that’s just an assumption though as I don’t know her. We’re different people but we’ll see – I haven’t met [her] yet properly.’

Thankfully she’s got the seal of approval from TOWIE’s feistiest female Megan McKenna: ‘I know Amber, I’ve met her a few times. She’s nice. I know her sister really well.’

We're thinking of you, Bobby...

Celeb pals and members of the public have sent their love to TOWIE‘s Bobby Norris, who has recently lost his beloved little dog, Beau.

Beau was a 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier who was mauled by a large dog when Bobby had taken him for a walk in a local park. The injuries were so bad that tiny Beau had to be put to sleep by the vet as he was unable to recover.

Opening up on today’s Loose Women, the lovable TOWIE star said: ‘I’ve gone through this tragic loss and Beau has been taken away from me at such a young age.’

‘It was like a cliche, it was like a film. He got Beau in his mouth and shook him. He may have thought it was a rabbit or a toy.’ Bobby added, fighting back tears.

Twitter got behind Bobby and fans everywhere were sending him their condolences, along with fellow reality TV stars…

I really enjoy toning and weight training. I don’t really have a set routine so I exercise as and when I get a chance. I do live a very active lifestyle and I’m constantly on my feet so I think this helps in keeping me fit as I’m always doing my steps!

How do you motivate yourself to keep fit?

Being in the public eye you’re always photographed and so when you see pictures of yourself looking and feeling good, it’s good motivation to keep it up.

How do you juggle keeping fit and being a mum to two-year-old daughter Nelly?

Being a mum has actually encouraged me to keep fit. I’m constantly on my feet running around after Nelly as she’s so active!

My favourite body part is my waist as it’s small and gives me an hourglass shape, which I really like. I don’t like the bottom of my stomach as I find it a really stubborn area for me, like most girls, and find it really hard to tone that area.

Probably bread, I love it and I eat it three-four times a week!

OLLIE SAYS: This cereal choice is high in sugar and refined carbohydrates which will cause blood sugar levels to spike and then plummet very quickly after. Replace with 50g of jumbo porridge oats for lasting energy.

OLLIE SAYS: Vegetables in salads are good sources of insoluble fiber, which keeps your digestive tract healthy. Try adding nuts, seeds or beans to the salad; you’ll get a boost of soluble fibre which helps lower cholesterol and keeps blood sugar balanced.

OLLIE SAYS: White fish contains omega-3 fatty acids, but in lower amounts than oily fish, making it a much more sustainable addition to a long-term diet plan. Carbohydrates at night will replenish energy stores and will increase sleep quality.

OLLIE SAYS: Replace the biscuits with two squares of 85% dark chocolate, which may improve blood flow and lower blood pressure. Snacking on crisps and biscuits may trigger overeating, which can contribute to weight gain.
