EX-TOWIE star Ricky Rayment went in for a public PDA with fiancee, Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson
They announced their engagement last month, and Marnie Simpson and Ricky Rayment proved they’re still very much in the honeymoon period when they were spotted canoodling at the R U Coming Out party at London’s Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
The Geordie Shore lot aren’t usually shy, retiring types, but judging by Marnie’s incredibly unimpressed expression, she wasn’t in the mood for a PDA that night. Ricky was keen to plant multiple kisses on his girlfriend of seven months, but her face said otherwise – see the gallery above for the snaps.
The pair got together after meeting at the National Television Awards party back in January, and Ricky made his first appearance in Geordie Shore when he proposed to Marnie in Zante in June.
Their first kiss, at the Awards afterparty, happened soon after Ricky split from his former TOWIE co-star Jessica Wright, and it didn’t take long for him to get serious with Marnie.
Despite seeming to shrug off her fiance’s affections at the R U Coming Out party on July 23, Marnie has previously appeared smitten with Ricky. Earlier this week, Now revealed that the pair had had each other’s initials tattooed on their arms. Ricky posted a picture of his inking – the letter M and a heart – but Marnie’s tat has so far stayed off social media.
Marnie also plans to leave her Geordie roots to be close to Ricky, telling Now earlier this month: “I’m going to move to Essex.” The move will mean she’s likely to bump into Ricky’s ex Jess while out and about, but Marnie insists the pair “[don’t] have any beef”.
The tattoos and Marnie’s planned relocation to the other end of the country suggest it’s all pretty serious between the pair. We can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for the wedding – we’re sure it’ll be mint and reem in equal measure.
