The reality stars were close to danger
Over the Easter bank holiday weekend, clubgoers at an east London hotspot were horrified when there was an acid attack, injuring 12 people.
And it’s now being revealed that among those present were TOWIE cast members Jamie Reed, his new girlfriend Jade Lewis and Chloe Meadows.

It’s estimated that 600 people were present at the event in Hackney early on Monday morning (17th April), when an unknown attacker splashed acid at party guests. With the event hosted by party promoters @WeAreLoveJuice, it was confirmed that Jade and Jamie were in attendance when she posted a short clip to Twitter:

Though some were rushed to hospital, it is not believed that the reality stars were among those hurt.
However, footballer and Celebrity Big Brother star Jamie O’Hara posted pictures of his cousin, Sadie Wright, who was one of the 12 people injured by the acid and wrote as a caption:
‘Sick that my cousin got burnt from this acid attack in Hackney, innocent people get injured for the sick act of violence, guy should get life.’

Horrifying stuff.
Elsewhere, Jamie Reed seems to be in a much better place now than at the beginning of the series, when he was going through a bitter split with co-star Amber Turner; she admitted to kissing Dan Edgar while they were together, before embarking on a short relationship with him.
Despite the fact that he’s getting increasingly loved up with Jade, Jamie wrote about his heartache in a recent blog post, telling readers:
‘Nothing cuts deeper than when you find out that the person who you trusted, the person who you shared all your secrets with, the person who placed your trust and commitment with, has, behind your back, in secret, been developing another relationship. It’s a level of betrayal you can hardly describe with words.’
Here’s hoping he never has an experience like that again!
