Gemma has an important goal in mind
Gemma Collins has been slimming down over the past few weeks and she’s impressed fans with her increasingly slender look.
It turns out that the 36-year-old isn’t shedding pounds for vanity purposes though – in fact the REAL reason behind her weight loss is her desire to have a baby.

Gemma confessed the emotional motive behind her body transformation during Sunday night’s edition of TOWIE when she explained to returning star Charlie King why she’s enlisting his services as a personal trainer.
‘I still haven’t met the love of my life yet,’ she explained to her former BF. ‘Being the new found age woman that I am, I’ve decided to take the route of freezing my eggs.
‘But you know, if you are overweight and you’re trying to have a baby, you’re at a 40 percent chance basically. so less than half way.
‘I need to lose weight.’
Charlie – who left TOWIE in 2013 and came out as gay on live TV the following year – is happy to help Gemma achieve her goal but didn’t shy away from telling her where she’s going wrong.
The fitness star took Gem to task over her ‘excuses’ when she explained that she’d had a takeaway the previous night because she’d ‘gone all day without eating’.
‘It’s not an excuse its just obviously I don’t want to mess my kitchen up you know what I mean?’ Gemma replied. LOLS.
Luckily Charlie is still keen to support the blonde star and reassured her: ‘I’m totally game to help you here. You’re stunning.’
A beaming Gemma answered back: ‘If I had the body to match I’d be the fittest girl in Essex. I know I would. I’d be pregnant in five minutes.’
Go, Gem! It comes as the latest step in Gemma’s plans to become a mum, having previously been seen on the show visiting a doctor to discuss freezing her eggs.
She also recently confessed that she’d secretly been hoping to get pregnant when she had a one-night stand with ex-boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent in Marbella last year and didn’t use contraception.
