Amber's moved on with Dan Edgar - yet Jamie had big plans in store...
TOWIE has wasted no time in jumping straight into the drama, only a few episodes into the current series – and from some newbies, too!
Amber Turner, best friend of fireball Megan McKenna, began her reality show journey with a bang, as she admitted to kissing Dan Edgar – despite still being in a relationship with Jamie Reed!
Scenes from recent episodes showed them, unsurprisingly, breaking up, after more than four years together – and now Amber’s decided to make a go of things with Dan! (Can anyone say ‘salt in the wound’?)
And now, Jamie’s spoken out about his hurt – made even worse by the revelation that he was thinking of proposing!

After such a public breakup, it’s pretty understandable that club promoter Jamie isn’t in the best of ways – and he’s decided to go public with his upset, claiming that he’d had no clue that their relationship would hit such a massive bump in the road.
‘I wouldn’t have joined a TV show if I’d thought we were a weak couple,’ he admitted. ‘In January we bought a new car, we booked a holiday in Dubai and we bought a new sofa.’
More than sunny breaks and house fittings, however, Jamie’s plans also included proposing later this year, as he saw a permanent future with Amber. He tells new! magazine:
‘Amber’s always told me she can’t wait to get married. I’ve always said to her I thought she was going to be the mother of my children.
‘We’d have been together five years in September, so that would have been the perfect time to propose.’
YIKES.
He also goes on to claim that the stress of the situation has made it difficult to sleep – yet it hasn’t stopped him from keeping his eyes open for his next love: ‘There’s somebody I’ve become quite close to who I like. It’s a friendship at the moment. I’ve got trust issues.’
