Life after the villa may be getting a whole lot sweeter
When Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were announced the winners of Love Island on Monday, fans thought it a truly bittersweet moment.
Though they more than deserved to walk away with the cash prize of £50,000, their winning meant the end of the show, and the end of our daily fix of televisual romance!
But we may not be saying goodbye to these two just yet – as there are rumours that they could be signing on to join the cast of The Only Way Is Essex!

After all their amorous activities in the villa, it has been suggested that these two will be drafted in to add extra spice to the classic scripted reality show. And with viewers witnessing these two getting it on more than 21 times over the course of six weeks, they’d certainly be good at it!
‘Of course we are excited about new TV projects and would love to continue entertaining,’ Cara revealed on Wednesday.
Nathan added, speaking to Daily Star: ‘We have friends on TOWIE and I’ve said before that I would love to join the show, so we wouldn’t say no.’
Both have connections to the show already as they’ve revealed plans to double date with Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou – so, TOWIE bosses, take note!
However, there’ll be no more late-night TV performances for Cara on her own, now that Nathan’s in the picture. Cara has been very open about her previous appearances on erotic TV channels and was previously revealed to have videos on a pornographic website. But when asked if she’d be doing any more, she declined:
‘I don’t think I’ll go back to it, when I was doing it before I wasn’t with someone,’ she explained to the Sun Online on Wednesday (13th July).
‘Now I’ve got a boyfriend and we are very serious about each other.’
A sign of blossoming love if we’ve ever seen it!
