Ahh, what’s a birthday without an embarrassing throwback pic suddenly resurfacing? The lucky recipient of one of these delightful photos today is former TOWIE star Lydia Bright, courtesy of boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent.
Currently in Austria, preparing to take part in Channel 4’s snowsports competition The Jump, Arg is sadly not around to celebrate Lydia’s 25th in person. But, to make up for it, he’s posted a lovely message on Instagram to assure his long-term, on-off love that he’s thinking about her from afar:

Presumably taken sometime in the mid-Noughties, Lydia’s look gives a vibe of Britney Spears at her finest, with highlighted extensions coming down to her waist.
But, Arg, now 28, is the real hair standout in this picture, unashamedly rocking a mullet. A mullet. In the Noughties. What a brave, bold soul…
Arg’s ‘business in the front, party in the back’ hairdo has not gone unnoticed by a good amount of his 240,000 Instagram followers, with one commenting ‘Nice mullet, mate’ while others tag their friends to view the pic.
